International Workshop - Human and Animal TSE

June 26 - 28, 2008
Grado, Italy

In recent years, research efforts in the understanding of transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSE), spurred by the occurrence of bovine spongiform encephalopathy in Europe, has established a wealth of scientific information in prion biology and disease. Many young researchers approaching for the first time this novel scientific field may be overwhelmed by the continuous growth of research information. The workshop on Human and Animal TSE is intended to provide an accessible format in which the attendees can learn the state-of-the-art of TSE directly from international experts in the field of prion research.
